Participants: 55 men and 10 women participated in this study. All participants are current students at the collegiate level.
Procedures: The participants answered the 8 question survey online through surveymonkey.com.
Observations: The participants were asked various questions about their college life, involvement on campus, and commitment to their education. With these results, I created several graphs and charts to analyze the data based on gender, university, and hometown.
Ben has good format and gives the reader a lot of information about his research project. For the methods section, he explains his results saying "I created" which can be easily corrected.
ReplyDeleteHis introduction hooks the reader's interest in the paper. He does not list all of his research questions in the introduction, but he does introduce the topic well and discusses related research. His language is clear and concise and his tone is formal and scholarly.
One thing you could add to your introduction to make it stronger would be background information on previous studies and the result from those surveys to show why your survey is needed. Another area that you could improve on in your paper would be the Methods to add a section on Data Analysis as Hem provided it in the handout for the assignment.
